Ha thanks Chris. Yeah buddy! To clarify, I’m trying to get a B.S. and a M.E. (or M.S., I’m not sure) both in four years, so next semester begins the overlap when I’ll be taking the full senior course load as well as a few graduate courses on the side, and then my fourth year of college I’ll be a full-time graduate student. Bring it on.

She really is the best roommate ever, and we’re going to see if maybe we can work something out so that Amy and I could double-bunk my room and be real roommates for a semester. It all depends on how things happen.

I’m really glad that I started this blog, especially because it was with the goal to write something every day. Because I often write about my thoughts on any given day and practice putting ideas into words, I feel as though I am a better writer than I was when I started. That’s not to say that I’m a better academic writer, but at least I’m more comfortable in front of a keyboard than I was two years ago. It’s a good feeling, especially because I’m an introvert and I tend to keep my thoughts inside most of the time.

Now it’s my turn to take some big ideas and put them down on paper, telling my university why I want to start being a graduate student next year. I’m going to do graduate studies at the same university that I’m currently attending, so it shouldn’t be that hard to get accepted, especially because this university is paying for my college education. This whole admissions process is really just another hoop I have to jump through before I can start getting ready for my summer research position with the Secret Service and FBI.

Man, some exciting stuff has been happening in my life lately. This is a big semester for me.

I wish I were tired enough to get some sleep, there’s been so much on my mind lately and it would be so nice to just forget it all for a few hours before getting up for church tomorrow.

He’s asleep and I wish I could be asleep there next to him.

I can’t wait until we have our bed, and not just yours and mine. Sometimes I just wish time would go faster so we can be done with living separate lives apart from each other.

Maybe I’ll just sit in my dark apartment alone for the rest of the night and lose all sense of time.

• Drake. He’s everything to me and I’m so blessed every single day that he loves me the way I love him. Sometimes I fall short of that love and yet he still stands by me through everything. I need to remember how special that is and how lucky I really am to have him.
• Graduating from college with a Masters degree and entering a career that I love. I want to make the most of the opportunities that I’ve been given, and this is the perfect time to do that. I’ll only go through college once and I want to be able to look back on it and say that I really did care about my education and that I worked as hard as I could to learn as much as I could.
• Keeping up with friends that I really care about, like Danny. I’m not tight with a lot of people, I mostly prefer to keep to myself, but then there’s a special few like him that I would do anything for, and I never want to lose touch with those people.
